Julian Opie is a Contemporary British artist whose simple, graphic figurative portraits, paintings, and videos render a pared-back perspective on contemporary life.
Each artwork by Julian Opie is distinct, often featuring boldly-outlined silhouettes, which take inspiration from Japanese woodblock prints, Egyptian hieroglyphics, and traffic signs.
