Indoor jeu-de-boules ‘Mooie Boules’
You may be wondering why there is an indoor jeu-de-boules in the list of ‘what to do in Amsterdam’. We often think of those coloured plastic balls at the campsite in France when we hear jeu-de-boules. But a group of friends in Amsterdam have made jeu-de-boules cool again.
‘Mooie Boules’ is more than an indoor jeu-de-boules spot; it’s also a food hall with food from chefs Ron Blaauw and Michiel van der Eerde. So in addition to a nice game, you can enjoy delicious dishes. This is one of the most fun things to do in Amsterdam with a group of friends for example. You can rent a spot for €10 for 45 minutes. You can go with 10 people max. and the balls are included. Boules, drinks and good food can be enjoyed in Amsterdam.
The Moco Museum in Amsterdam is a hip and super Instagrammable museum that focuses on all ages. The artworks on display here are inspired by graffiti such as the works of Icy & Sot and Banksy. Or from the comic book culture such as Roy Lichtenstein. Young people in particular will be attracted to this museum. When you don’t know what to do in Amsterdam you should really visit the Moco Museum.
The museum has introduced an Augmented Reality App: Moco Play. This app brings the artworks in the museum to life on your phone. Nice to know: the app also works on the posters that you can buy in the gift shop. So you can continue to use the app at home.

Here you can play games such as Dance Dance Revolution, Button Bash or Mega Tetris. There are also various pinball machines.
Puck TonTon Club
In addition to the TonTon Club arcades we’ve just mentioned, there is also a special TonTon Air Hockey Club. Here are twelve air hockey tables, five different types. There are also some ‘normal’ arcade games such as Guitar Here, pinball and Dance Dance Revolution. But, the Puck TonTon Club focuses primarily on the fanatic air hockey players. The food at Puck is from the French-Asian kitchen. Here you can have fun with friends with a snack and a fun game. When you don’t know what to do in Amsterdam, this is the place to be.
In addition to numerous fun activities and sight, Amsterdam is also full of nice cafes and restaurants. What to do in Amsterdam? Food and drinks of course!
