Job description

For our office in Barcelona, we are currently looking for an Event Manager with an energetic, flexible, and hands-on attitude who enjoys managing the entire event organisation process, from sales to event execution to evaluation.

Working within the marketing department, in this role you will be mainly responsible for developing and commercialising external and internal events. You will be the liaison between the client and our suppliers. You will also carry out certain marketing activities together with your colleagues of the marketing team.

Responsibilities

Organisation and coordination of events
Responsible for the budget and ensure quality
Responsible for the creation and sales of new event
PR activities related to events
Research vendors and choose the best combination of quality and costs
Administration of all events related documentation
Evaluate the event success and submit reports
Assist the marketing team with marketing related activities

Requirements

Proven experience as event coordinator (min. 5 years)
Well organised with multi-tasking skills
Problem-solving abilities and stress resistant
Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Languages: Spanish (native), English (fluent), Catalan (plus)
Proficient in Excel and MS Office
