Moco Museum Amsterdam is looking to fulfill the position of Content & Social Media
Intern. As a Content & Social Media Intern, you will wear many hats, meaning you
experience and assist in the international marketing strategies and campaigns of Moco
Museum. You will be responsible for creating compelling stories in text, image, and video
formats that capture and activate audiences. You will also be responsible for writing blogs
and producing copy that upholds the company's messaging and ensuring that our tone of
voice is consistent throughout all online and offline communication channels. As a member
of the Marketing Department, you join a team where opportunities for growth and creative
expression are as boundless as the future of art.

The position of Creative Content & Social Media Intern at Moco Museum is an exciting opportunity - based in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

Writing blogs in our tone of voice for the website, which are topical, relevant, and always embracing our core values
Setting up and optimizing web pages to increase presence and support a positive customer experience
Assisting in the management of the company’s website and social media platforms
Ensuring that the company tone of voice is engaging and consistent throughout all communication channels - internally and externally
Helping with the design and execution of social media campaigns
Creating weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote Moco on various social media websites
Tracking social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
Supporting marketing team at events
Responding to comments and DMs on social media platforms
Brainstorming and researching ideas for original content - written and visual
Editing short-form videos
Assisting with photo/video content shoots

Requirements

As a candidate, you are an out-of-the-box thinker who likes to take the risk or lose the chance. You are detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive with the ability to work accurately within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Art or related study
Strong written and verbal communications skills in English (Dutch/Spanish/Catalan is an added bonus)
Interest in creative storytelling with a desire to develop copywriting skills
Analytical of websites, creating a content strategy, and keyword strategy
Knowledge and enthusiasm for trends in the art world and social media
Ability to work alongside a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
Familiar with MS Office and passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
